-and HTML5 on Youtube.

Let's start with HTML5 on Youtube. Go here to use it: http://www.youtube.com/html5
It's basically a replacement for Flash video on Youtube.
It requires much less system resources and it loads the entire video, instead of limiting you to ~1minute ahead of your current position in the video like Flash does.
Everything doesn't work yet tho. So any videos that have advertisements will play in Flash.
They mention that fullscreen doesn't work properly, but it works perfectly for me on Firefox.

I'd just like to share my favorite Firefox addons. Some of them should be available on Chrome too.
Do share any good ones you know too.

Tab Mix Plus - Allows you to change pretty much EVERYTHING that has to do with tabs and windows and it adds a bunch of nice functionality like undo-close-tab, a loading bar on the tab, new tab(after this one) on right-click and a huge bunch more useful stuff.

Fabtabs - Makes your tabs look FABULOUS! Taric approves.
It colors your browser and the tab in question in the dormant color of a website. So if you're on MOBAFire (which obviously has Black as a dormant color) your browser and the tab turns Black. Youtube? Red (it's set to ignore white colors by default). The tabs remain the color that is dormant on that site, it's just the browser that changes color when you switch tabs. Text on your bookmarks bar and on the tabs will change from between white and black depending on whether the background is bright or dark(so you won't ever have trouble seeing the text)

Adblock Plus - Blocks 99% of all advertisements. I mainly use it to get rid of the **** on youtube (hate "popups" >.>).

Proxtube - This is a big one for anyone who gets blocked a lot on youtube(Germish people should love this *looks at Yuki* >:[ ). It should remove most country restrictions.

Web of Trust (WOT) - Allows you to see how credible a site is according to the other users.

Multi Links - Allows you to interact with several links at the same time (I use it with Ctrl like I do with folders and files).

My addons:

Adblock plus - no explanation required.

British English Dictionary - no explanation required.

Download Status Bar - Shows a tiny status bar for each download on the bottom of the screen

Read It Later - Let's me save pages to easily read them lader.

Speed Dial - Makes my "home" a bunch of thumbnails of websites I want and enables shortcuts for those websites.

YouTube Unblocker - Unlocks Youtube videos blocked in my country.

I also changed my tabs with some addon but I have no idea what happened to it, though my tabs stayed the same which is weird.

Lol, FF has a built in speed dial function as of version 13 :P

Just insert "about:newtab" as the address for your home page.

No idea. Not sure you can hotkey the sites.
But I wouldn't wanna do that anyway. You have 9 thumbnails that look pretty and an easily accessible searchbar. That plenty enough for me :P

The best thing about the speed-dial addon is that I can use hotkeys for each website, right now I use ctrl 1-9, which is rather useful.

Is that global? The only hotkeys for opening sites I'd like would have to be global and not just restricted for use only in a new tab.

what do you mean by global? They work in any tab if that's what you're asking. It lets you have up to 99 hotkeys, you just press ctrl 1-99 and it'll load the respective page.

Ok.
Might check it out, but seems rather minor overall.

There's some really brilliant addons
depending on how much you value privacy
and security online. One such addon is
NoScript. It's brilliant.
