According to some sources Diablo 3 was going to be out this December, but there are voices (official ones) that state that it will be "faster than we expect". The game is done at this moment. They are finetuning stuff, Beta will be the last stand before release that tests out servers, patchers, ability to host/join games, friends and coop handling. This kind of stuff that require alot of ppl accualy doing something on the servers. According to some ppl Blizz has 2-3 month beta timing (wow, sc2?) than releases game. Setting up servers and stuff for US (than it will be done in EU while US ppl test out) Now they will please us probably with direct info about chars ingame. Showing us skills stats and so on.
