Erm... did you read my post or watch any of the videos?..
The best comparison to a racing game most people know is probably F-ZERO. It's kinda similar to F-ZERO.
I enjoyed the **** out of F-ZERO GX (I think it was) for my Gamecube.

I threw 50 bucks on it (car skin + 2*game+soundtrack+extras). Let's hope this **** turns out good.
This actually looks really promising o.o
Indeed it does. Have you tried Nitronic Rush?

Gran turismo, Forzaand Need for Speed are the best racing games
Yea, sure, IF YOU LIKE BEING BORED OUT OF YOUR MIND
They're not so much games as they are drugs for car junkies..
Honestly, racing games today are pretty similar to MMS(Modern Military Shooter) games. They're stuck in this ****ty circle of boring, uninnovative games.

Here's a quick look at the PRE-ALPHA (nowhere near done) game:
The game is gonna be a spiritual successor to the FREE game they made that goes by the name of Nitronic Rush.
I loved Nitronic Rush. It looked good, had nice sound design and was ******* awesome to play. All in all the game was good enough to pay money for in my opinion and I'm not the only one who thought so.
Here's a look at the game with Mr.CynicalBrit, Total Biscuit:
Click the banner to get to their site and try the game out. It's just 300MB. (I recommend using torrent)
Distance is basically gonna be Nitronic Rush with more polish and a LOT more content; redesigned flight mechanics(physics-based with gliding), multiplayer(with several game modes), level editor, modding tools, Windows, MAC and possibly Linux support and obviously controller support(which NRush had too).
I cannot recommend supporting this game enough. I'm seriously considering dropping 50 bucks on this **** (exclusive car skin :3).
Head over to their Kickstarter page and have a look!
