With the nomination thread I required people to give their own name when they nominate someone so I can copypaste is all in one bigass excel sheet which I converted later on in the big spoiler list you find in the opening :P
You should be able to find who nominated you in the fitting spoiler, if you want to check if that is correct as well, I'd suggest checking the nomination thread which is also linked in the opening :P

What do they get if they win their category? A title thingy under their name? Or the ability to boast that they won xxx category?

The people that regularly use those threads are from 2013. The thread is still alive in 2013. This competition is about what thread or which person deserves a spotlight. You wouldn't say that a person cannot win a category either because he didn't join mobafire in 2013 but in 2012, right? As I see it, it is quite a similar idea. Person A started off in 2012 and is very "witty" during the year of 2013. Thread A started off in 2012 but is very active in 2013. Both can still earn a reward because they still did what they did in the year of 2013. This might change next year for whatever reason, but right now it stays the way it is.
