SyncMaster SA550, 23" 1920x1080 res and I love it =D, wasnt that botherd about missing out on the 120hz 3d moniters, i love the look of this and its very nice touch buttons and ports are good, thanks for asking! :D
Why do ppl think that 120Hz is only for 3D XD XD XD
Well i've spent alot of time on my 2233rz and i realy see the diference between standard LCD and 120Hz one.
The one you took has only D-Sub + HDMI inputs... no DVI-D? well that would disqualify that monitor for me...
From specs it is a nice low-lag monitor with standard TN screen as far as i see.
Its ok but the lack of DVI-D is a big no no for me... analog signal from PC? but well you wanted to play xbox on it so...

What's the point of having a 120Hz monitor when you don't have a GPU powerful enough to pump out the newest FPS games at over 60FPS?
Hz=updates per second and since you'll most likely update at about 60 times per second (FPS) you won't notice a difference, will you?
Well, unless you got some kinda monster card, but that I don't.

This is a subjective thing compared to raw info.
Theoreticly there should not be any diference in 60fps game on a 60Hz and 120Hz one in 2D mode. But there is... For example of TV's there are TVs that can reach 1000Hz and higher and what for if there is only 25fps on standard TV broadcast. Yet you see the diference of fluency on the screen.
Have you ever played on a 120Hz monitor? If not, than you dont know what i am talking about.
Also getting 60+ fps isnt something realy hard to get (i have 230-290 fps in LoL for example) and i set my fps rates in CS or Quake Live to 100 if possible to.
Ofc there are games that chocke on 30fps (imho 50fps is a minimum playable fps) but you will still see the diference. Believe me or try it yourself.
Now after fiew weeks on 120Hz i see the diference on equal PC with equal FPS eventho it runs the same game at 50fps.

I've looked at 100Hz TVs and 600ones and didn't notice anything different when watching normal TV (as far as I can remember), but then again, the human eye can only see colors at about 50FPS. Black and white can be seen at up to about 150FPS or so.
I might notice a bigger difference when looking at 60 VS 120Hz.
