Just click the link and read the article. It's very short.

Major props to the Norwegians for thinking forward like this.

This is one big step towards books being primarily read in digital form.
SOOO many resources will be saved by using digital instead of physical books.

I kind of like sitting next to a fire and reading Outlier, or Blink, or any other book I've chosen to read. I prefer physical books, but I have a kindle, too. Congratulations to Norwegians, then if this happens in the US and all books are stored in like a computer library, research will save time and money. Like you said, props to them :3

does this mean my relatives collection (my heritage) are worthless :o

And I really like reading real books. They are better (fiction, at least, dunno about finding information and such)

janitsu it does the opposite. if people stop printing books then the printed books in existance will become valuable later as less and less copies are available.

just like how an original print of say.. a christmas carol is much more valuable than one that was printed yesterday.

even if this does happen across the world im sure there will still be people that want signed copies of printed books from authors, just like they do with CDs still even though nearly all music can be found digitally

^Of course, it's in human nature to be scared of change and cling to old ways.
It doesn't matter if the change is for the better to many people, because they're used to the old way and "like it more".
I guess nostalgia might be a factor.
The moment a religious person unknowingly calls his own ways stupid: "And lol. I highly doubt you have magic powers. If you proved it I would believe you, but since you 'refuse to', I choose not to."

these are two reasons and not necessarily related.

True, it's probably both. That they are for some and that they aren't for others.
