Hi bros, i was wondering if anyone plays Brave Frontier and how he is doing on there. For those who don't know what it is, Brave Frontier is a popular mobile (iOS and Android) RPG under development by gumi Asia Pte. Ltd.

This great game consists of lots of missions and special dungeons to face with your team of "creatures" which have different types, element, stats, rarity, leader abilities and brave bursts! The "Type" consists on a little title in your "creature" stats that, infact, changes the creature's stats based on what it is(Guardian=More def, Lord=all stats are a little higher etc...). The element is, ofc, the element of your creature. There are 6 elements: Fire, Water, Thunder, Earth, Dark and Light(Fire>Earth>Thunder>Water>Fire---- Dark>Light>Dark). Every creature has its own stats: HP, Attack, Defense and Rec. The higher is the "Rec" the more effective the heals will be on that creature. Not every single unit is the same, there are commons, rares, super rares, mega rares and even ultra rares ones! When you make you team you have to decide which one of your units will be the leader, each of them have a special ability that activates only when they are the leader of that team(you can change leader whenever you want). Brave bursts are special attacks that charge up by hitting the enemies, who will drop BB Crystals which will charge each unit's brave burst bar(every single unite have its own bar, so if one charges dosent mean that everyone will).
I forgot to mention that lots of units can be evolved! Each unit has a max level depending on its rarity (3, 4 and 5 stars usually for the good ones, 1 and 2 for the ****ty "mobs") and when you max its level by "sacrificing" other units to it, you can evolve it, but it does need Zel (in game currency) and some evolution units, which only purpose is to be used to evolve. When you evolve a unit, its rarity will grow, for example, if i evolve a 3 star unity(a rare one), it'll become a super rare one.

There is too much to explain it in one post, but i hope you get the idea(even tho my grammar ain't perfect).

Soooooo, if you play it we can discuss, add each other as friend etc here, and i really hope someone is playing/will play it cause otherwise this is kinda a pointless thread lol.

Anyway, here is my team atm:
Goddess Emilia Goddess Atro God Tree Eltri Inventor Elulu Scythe Alice

Let the discussion begin!

Basically, another phone game that aims at pay 2 not play the game(as in no need to grind/farm for stuff or even do the battles etc), or pay 2 have those artificially difficultys gone.

Sadly, most online phone games are like that, even the offline games have in app purchases, which kinda takes away the 'art'-part out of the game and makes it mostly commercial.

Tbh no. Idk if you played it or not, if you didnt like it or whatever, but i feel in no way that is a pay2win or that paying is needed at all. Yeah sure it can help you getting those stronger units faster, but its not guaranteed. There are 2 type of "Summons", the honorable ones(using honor points earned by using friend/random people as help if your missions and by people gifting them to you, or even official events) and the rares ones(using "Gems"). In the honorable one you can find units from 1 to 3 of rarity, in the rare one from 3 to 5 atm. Yes, gems can be bought by spending real money, but the % of summoning the strongest/rarest units dosen't change at all. You can even earn gems by doing some arena (pvp), partecipating to some events, finishing all missions of an area.

All that just to say that i don't really think that buying gems will put you in an unreacheable status of strenght, sure it makes it faster, but then again you still need the same luck of everyone to be there, you just spent money for more summoning.

EDIT: also what do you mean by paying 2 not play the game? lol

I play this. Level 107ish on Global and JP.

@Searz
P2Win Pokemon seems like the most accurate description. I thought it was more like Final Fantasy, but each has their similarities.

@Ichi
You can't skip content in this game unless you consider die > pay to revive > hit them once > die repeat as skipping content.

And fortunately you can't pay to directly increase your stats, so you aren't able to start > dump $100 and max your stats immediately.

what's your team atm? and what would you want as a "final perfect team"? I watched some vids, and many consider a 4-5 douglas team among the bests.

Also your code for friendz?(if you want) :3

I usually run mono water/rainbow.

The perfect team is basically just running a Maxwell leader with another Maxwell friend :P

You just 1 shot anything that isn't a Trial dungeon or Raid Boss.

idk if the server im playing in is the EU one(if there is one) or it the global one, but actually there aren't many of units that jp/kr servers have, nor any 6 Stars or Rainbow element(didn't even know there was a rainbow one, weird since i've checked brave frontier's wikia many times). Quite lame if you ask me. They recently added aisha and idk who else into my server, but not that many, only 5 units.
