No. I believe the problem might be with the stick that plugs into the actual headset. They made it this way for travelling purposes. Personally I find that I'd rather have it work and have it be stuck in the headset lol.
And yeah, I have my laptop, but for some reason my laptop can't make the headset itself work, because it prioritises it's own speakers, and automatically keeps activating them when I have deactivated them and activate the headset. Then they are both active, and there's no sound at all.
