Counter Picking Question

Singed or a similar super tanky champion like Jarvan or Taric, anyone with a flash skill. Vayne solo top is what all the pros do. Don't see my GP's solo top, but you should be able to shut him down with most mages, and most of the jax counters.[/quote]

Morgana is the best pick against a Zilean. Spell shield, spellvamp, huge range. Renekton is the greatest counter agaisnt Jax so far. Udyr is shut down by a good Jax, Lee Sin, Rumble or Renekton. But they are pretty even so it's mostly skill. Udyr is good against GP, aswell as Renekton. Lee Sin could work aswell. Don't lane against him as Jax.[/quote]

All I know is I've never lost a lane verse Jax. (With Jarvan.) I zone him out super hard and he can't do anything about it until he catches up in levels. Jax can't trade with Jarvan early because of Jarvan's burst. They are both champions who want to trade quick blows during laning phase and wait for cooldowns, but Jarvan's passive ends up winning that trade. Jax's kit, however, allows him to come back during mid game and win fights, but not if Jarvan puts him far enough behind while he has the advantage. If Jax gets any amount of farm, then during the mid game phases he will come back and beat Jarvan, but if he can't do that, then he's toast. Jarvan's kit beats Jax's during levels 1-7. The statement I made was in regards to laning phase. End game the only way to beat Jax with Jarvan is to get Madred's Bloodrazor, Trinity Force, and Randuin's omen. That combo of gear is sooo expensive just to counter one guy but meh. Guess it's worth it =_= But yes, I would love to play against a good Jax and see how he fairs against my Jarvan. So far Jax has been free win lanes with Jarvan. Not even a challenge.[/quote]
