Meaning their max health+resistances factored in a rough example being a champion with 3200HP with tank like resistances ends up having somewhere around 3800-4k effective health.. Off tanks who can viably use tri force can afford more defensive items while still doing substantial DPS. Your point about anti carries is somewhat logical but the truth is. Your job is to go in and assassinate the enemy carry, an off tanks job (Like jarvan) is to stop you. Akali vs an equally geared Jarvan I'd say jarvan wins, at least in terms of controlling you and preventing you from anti carrying immideately (which is your whole purpose. Rush in and melt face ASAP). If someone CCs you and starts whaling on your face for 200dmg a pop you might want to pay attention, all of a sudden you lose focus on killing their carry. Or even if you tunnel vision Jarvan can still CC you enough to do his job. Now multiply a champ like Jarvan by 3 or even 4. An anti carry with 2200HP can't hope to get through a wall of beefy CC heavy champs and complete their objective, or at least complete it immideately....But what's the point of being an anti carry if a team fight lasts 15 seconds and you're FINALLY able to DPS your target for the last 5, your team is probably retreating or already dead because the opposing teams carry was able to do their job for 10 seconds. It's all built on what ifs but playing against tanky teams is never fun. Even with Madred's blood razor they still take a lot of damage. As to Poppy....She is strong, deffinately able to do her job late game. Even mid game she can start dominating. But she too can be countered, and her passive is quite strong. Just takes someone familiar with her mechanics to pull it off properly.[/quote]
