The thing with BT is that it's a niche item for AD carries who don't currently have reliable healing support on their team, hence the reason they need lifesteal to stay alive in a fight. Hit-for-hit, I-Edge is a hell of a lot more DPS and is the superior option when your support can reliably heal you in a fight.
