Why is this even a thread?
Even if he went into the fight almost dead, tryn could easily kill yi within his ult timer.
Not only that, but mocking shout means he can completely out dps him, he may not even need his ult in a real fight.
If no items are involved, Yi wins, but who the hell doesn't build items?

Dont forget that Yi can use Alpha Strike and Meditate
That gives Trynda an advantage, but Master Yi can use Wuju Style to double the AD bonus

You tell me how often that percentage of no crit actually makes a difference... If Tryndamere is played correctly, he should easily have over 50% crit chance in a fight.

why is this even a discussed matter?
Yi has better cleartimes than trynd, and better dragons. His ganks are probably the same maybe a bit better. So for a jungler yi is da best.

you can't really say Yi's Q is really that good, it requires you to hit something and you can't jump over walls well with it.
also AD debuff isn't that great, they nerfed da **** out of it -_-
