I just had an idea about a new kind of champion. It will probably not be fit for league of legends and it may or may not be ridiculously OP/UP, but I thought the ideas I had were interesting and I wanted o share.
I haven't considered a name yet so let's just call him Bob, but the visuals would be a huge golem, kind of like the old double golems, but bigger. I want this champion to have among the biggest base models in the game (not considering Zac or Cho'Gath.
The idea behind this champion is that it is kind of like terrain and focuses on being a big, tanky chunk of stone that is a strong front line and in the way of his opponants. He would probably be a support, as his abilities are best suited for helping his team. He's also a melee champion. I'll get on with the abilities.
Passive - Bob is seen as terrain and the enemy champions therefore has no vision behind Bob unless they have wards there or the units behind him are attacking. Since Bob is terrain that means that nobody can walk through him, not even Fizz or Hecarim. Additionally Bob has increased armor and magic resist.
Q - Passive: When enemy projectiles travels towards units behind Bob they are slightly slowed down and Bob takes a portion of the damage that would otherwise hit the units behind him.
Active: Bob roots himself in place and blocks all enemy projectiles with his own body and reduces the damage done to him with a certain percentage. When he cancels the ability he explodes and deals damage to all enemies around him depending on the damage he took while rooted. He also gains a small movement speed boost after the root ends. This ability drains mana for every second the ability is active.
W - Bob jumps to a target location and damages all enemies caught in the landing radius. Enemies caught in the middle are stunned slightly and the enemies caught in the edge are slowed.
E - Bob smashes the ground and knocks back all enemies around him and deals damage. Enemies closer to him are also slowed.
R - Bob jumps to a target location, deals damage to all enemy units caught in the impact zone and creates walls in a circle around him (like Cataclysm but bigger and with slightly thinner walls. Enemies caught inside can't walk out, but champions on Bob's own team can, but they can't walk back in.
Looking back at Bob it seems he might be riciculously OP, but I had fun making him and he feels unique.
Edit: I had another idea for the passive on his Q and that is that instead of slowing down projectiles that travels through him the projectiles instead loses 25% of their range (or something like that). That means that if someone attacks a unit behind Bob at his/her max range the attacks will miss and instead hit the furthest available target in the same line. Which would be better?
