So now Diana has been out for a little while and everyone has had a chance to fool around with her. I basically just wanna hear thoughts and theories of any kind about her in this thread.

I bought her a few days after her release and I'm absolutely in love with her. She is like Akali 2.0. Thus far I haven't really experimented with too many builds, just been running with double doran>guise>abyssal>rylais. I haven't lost with it yet.

She's definitely my newest flavor of the week. I don't know if I'd insult her enough to call her Akali 2.0 unless you were saying she's a definite upgrade from that kit. xP

Personally I've played her in 4 different roles.

1) Her most obvious and labeled is Jungle; her jungle speed is sick after 6 but it's easy to counter her early game. Her ganks are also below average until 6 and as such gets graded as slightly better than Warwick.

2) Top Solo: She's not much of a bruiser to be honest but someone that gets good with her would be a force to be reckoned with. She has massive kill potential due to her nasty harass, shield and CC.

3) APC Mid: Something a lot of people have done already and frankly if she gets any early kills she snowballs easily and it's almost a free win. This is what I usually play on Diana, I run Sorc Boots, Rod of Ages, Nashor's Tooth, Rylia's Crystal Scepter, Ionic Spark, and Rabadon's Deathcap. I won't get into the reasons for my item selections other than to say it suits my play-style.

4) As a joke, my friend and I ran APC Diana and Support Leona bot lane, totally trolling the game we were just having a bit of fun. The scary thing was we dominated our lane so completely that the enemy team were wanting to surrender 15 minutes in. I ran pretty much the same build as my Mid but that's kinda besides the point. I don't particularly think I'd play her as an APC bot in a serious ranked game but the potential is there.

I personally see Diana as a throw-back to when there was a roaming role back before it was relegated to supports since there was a jungler too and the roamer generally got left behind in levels without minions or neutrals to leech off of.

Either way, IMO she's best as a Jungler since her roaming is top notch, ganks get lethal after 6 and are still good before hand. That being said, I love to play her the most as the APC Mid, with a good gank or two it's just too easy to win once I get my turret down and start roaming in tandem with the jungler or teleporting to bot lane for some deadly fun ;)

This isn't as effective late-game as it is early-game but, build Trinity Force on her and you'll rape early to mid game.

Go mid, wait for lvl6+jungle gonk, go roaming, win game. Just know how to hit your Q.
She's got a good speed in the jungle, but pretty sub-par ganks, okay when she has her ult.
She's pretty good, needs a mix of AP and resistance though, like Abyssal, Rylai and things like that.

I think she's potentially the most fun I've ever had on a champion, everything from her design to her moveset is just fun to play. I play her in the jungle and tend to avoid ganking if possible until level 6, where upon she becomes lethal

I tend to go Sorc Boots -> RoA -> Nashors -> Rylias, if we're stomping I'll go Deathcap/Abyssal Scepter, if it's a bit tighter I'll go with Abyssal Scepter with Zhonya's/Frozen Heart
