Since Kayle's passive scales with AP and AD that's obviously the best things to itemize for. The reason for MBR is the % of total HP and that's not important unless you're up against a very bulky enemy team.

That's why I have a manamune and a black cleaver....which I have never seen anyone else build on Kayle...since her passive gives more bonus AP for her AD it makes sense to build her predominantly AD.
