Morgana has 2 quite reliable CCs. She is a great farmer and can sustain on a lane way more than Lux.
Morgana > Lux on dps
Lux > Morgana on burst.

You are thinking it bad. She isnt an AP carry, she isnt a support and for sure she isnt a tank.

Morg's shield is one of the best, the only downside being it only shields magic damage (It cancels out CCs)
