What exactly does spell vamp do? Some of my friends say it makes your summoner spells better, but that is definitely not what it sounds like.
i think it stands for spell vampire-ism. It works for spells the same way that lifesteal works for auto-attacks. In this case it is 20% spellvamp, so your spells give you 20% of the damage they cause back to you as health. It is worth noting that you only get 1/3 of spellvamp for AoE abilities, so you're only getting 6.7% life back with multi-target spells.
