Set 14, Cyber City, has received its sixth update! Read on to learn about all the changes that have gone live on Wednesday in Teamfight Tactics.
In a Nutshell
Patch 14.7 is a smaller, more competitively-minded patch, as it will be played during the final Cyber City’s Tactician’s Crown on July 11th through July 13th. This Patch will also last three weeks rather than the usual two weeks, as it coincides with Riot’s annual Summer break! Patch 14.8, the final patch of Cyber City, will debut on July 16th.
While standard TFT is a bit change-lite for this patch, Double Up has received multiple updates in Patch 14.7. Additionally, Remix Rumble and Pengu Party have received a few balance changes as well! A small but significant change has also affected how players get Set Revival Pass XP going forward.
In the past, players would receive Set Revival Pass XP only by completing Set Revival missions, but now this has been standardised. You gain XP regardless of what TFT game mode you play. For non-set revival queues, players will earn Set Revival Pass XP at the same rate as Set Pass XP for those queues. For a Set Revival Queue, players will earn 50% more Set Revival Pass XP for playing.
A final small change is that with Patch 14.7 and onwards, players will no longer be able to launch League of Legends or Teamfight Tactics in Compatibility Mode in Windows. This shouldn’t impact players, and will just ensure that League/TFT is being played in a supported environment.

System Changes
Radiant Item Name Update
Radiant items will no longer have unique names and instead will just be called Radiant XYZ. For example, Icathia’s Revenge will now just be called Radiant Void Staff instead. While the previous naming convention was fun, it did cause a bit of unnecessary confusion in the game.
Carousel Prioritization
In stage 5+ Carousels, if you don’t choose any champion (because you might be AFK or tabbed out) you will still get a random unit, but from now on the game will prioritise a unit with a Completed Item, not the most expensive unit.
Double Up Changes
Double Up has received a group of changes aimed at lowering the oppressiveness of three-star 4-cost units, which have been the main winning condition in Double Up matches. The following changes have been implemented to combat the issue:
Teamwork Cannon cooldown is now based on unit cost instead of star level. 3/3/3/5/5 rounds for 1/2/3/4/5-costs.
Teamwork Cannon can now only send one-star units.
The Duplicator Gift Armory option has been replaced by 3 Lesser Duplicators
Removed the ReinFOURcement Augment from the mode.
