Losing After Winning Promos

How many losses can you have before being demoted after you won you're promos?. I went from silver 1 to gold 5, I have lost once so far. How many more can i lose before being demoted?

Depends a lot on your MMR. Usually you're safe for 3-4 losses. The first time I went to Diamond 5, I had quite a losing streak before getting demoted due to my MMR.

Relax and game on. Don't think about demotion; if you got gold 5 once, you can get it again.

its not just your luck, when i got gold 5 i had like whole match histories full of losing streaks. In silver 1 i had such mmr that i got matched with ex diamonds and plats, after i got gold v it dropped to low silver lol

Yeah, but them 5 promo games were a nightmare lol. The first game i played G5, had 2 afk. That's my luck for sure haha. Thanks for the info i appreciate it!

Sorry if Im late to the party, but you have to have the MMR of a whole division below you to be demoted from V of a certain division. You'll be demoted to Silver I if you have the MMR of Silver V.
