Zephyr Or Phantom Dancer?

So the Tenacity on is a really important thing not to pass up, but packs better stats! Which do I take (for given circumstances) and for what reasons?

Agreed. Chaox hasn't been building PD anymore, he's been replacing it with Static Shiv.

Wow, the end of that sentence kind of gave up on making sense. ;)

Shiv seems like a solid substitute for PD, I agree. Little less single-target damage, but you get a crittable chain lightening effect instead.

From what I've heard is completely inferior. The tenacity is nice but the loss in crit is costly. PD is still going to reign supreme in AD carry builds, though I have seen a few use Static Shivv to good effect over PD.

im no pro or high elo or anything, but from the maths its kinda obvious to me that Zephyr is stronger. 20 AD, 10% CDR, 5% MS and 35% Tenacity vs 30% Crit Chance and 50 gold less... only other advantage for PD is that it build out of stronger items.

Well i dont know what the circumstances are.......
but i would say zephyr for most cases, expecially if the enemy has extreme ammounts of cc, then tenacity is important. and it also depends in ur build, if ur going for crit strike, definitely go pd, but other wise zephyr would be better. they both give same attack speed, while zephyr gives tenacity, cd red, and more movement speed. so final conclusion........ pd for crit, zephyr for practically everything else.
