For High ELO: How do you escape diamond 5 0LP hell?

Last season, I got promoted to diamond 5. I noticed that my LP gains/win and my LP deductions/loss were both decreasing a little, although I think that that's a normal thing. When the master tier was added, I fell into this hole, called the "win 10, lose 30" trap. I would won about 3/5-2/3 of the games I played, but I would still net a loss in LP. I gave up trying to climb after 40 or so games of this.

For any high ELO players, have you run into this kind of thing too? How did you get out of it?

The ideal solution would be to amass a massive winstreak, which would require you to consistently outplay people at you rank, basically meaning that you'd have to be a lot better than your rank. This is difficult for a lot of people because of how disheartening the losses get.

Alternatively, you could create a smurf to try to sneak past the rank by having a lower total of wins and losses, making each win and loss worth a lot more.

No idea... my friend is suffering from the same thing. He has 11 wins over loses but looses double the lp that he wins... No idea why or how LOL

He wins 3 games in a row, then loses 1 and its almost like starting from nil...

You mostly become a support so i prefer to playing a champ that have a synergy to your marksman.

Good support-marksman synergies:
Braum-Vayne
leona-jinx
Braum-Lucian

Just dont ks your marksman coz you will regret it, take it from a guy who stuck at silver 5 for a month
