    Guide Publication

I have pretty much finished my guide but I have still got 20 or so matchups to do, should I publish my guide now and then update it or finish completely and the publish?

Edit: thanks to everyone that answered I'll just publish it now with incomplete matchups, I was gonna finish them but had to have family movie time -_-

As long as the guide itself is done, I suppose it's okay to publish. You can't write matchups before you've played them after all, so as long as you update it you're kay.

guide is about the champion, matchups are just extra. Just have a general laning section and you should be fine. Additionally, matchups are very subject to change so..

Any guide can give you general advice about playing a champion. What makes a particular guide different is when it gives insight on how to deal with specific scenarios. This helps understand a lot better the champion's mechanics and limits.

I've never gotten downvoted for incomplete due to matchups, since matchups are going to take A LOT longer than the rest of the guide (having to find someone who's competent with that champion, and I often had to find two b/c duo lane).

Also, matchups are beyond what you need in a guide, and many top guides don't cover them at all. If the guide's still funtional, I don't see any reason not to publish it.

I might actually just finish writing it now seeing as it seems the files I have for LoL are absolutely ****ed and I can't play atm

    Matchups are that one exception.

Ok thanks I was just wondering if it was safe coz I didn't want to get spam downvoted for incomplete.

If you think it's done, then it's done.

I would wait for the matchups, personally.
