League of Legends (LoL) Question: Help on ranked please?

Help on ranked please?

Hi everyone, I'm currently in my first season of ranked in league and I started playing league at the beginning of this year. I got placed into silver 3, then I got into silver 2 promos, then I dropped to silver 4, then I got into my Silver 3 promos and dropped to silver 5, I've been in promos to Silver 4 either two or three times now and I just don't know what to do. I'm currently at 90 lp after my last promo series, and It makes me feel like the game is saying I should be promoted.

Do you guys have any tips on how I can do better in ranked? I want to try to get to atleast gold by end season, but I cant seem to win any solo queue games, since I usually only play ranked in duo queue. So, I was wondering, is here any way I can do better in solo queue? What mentality should I have when I play ranked? What should I do to just get better in ranked in general?

-If someone starts complaining in your games mute them immediately, bad energy can affect how good you play in that game.
-Get good at cs-ing, cs is extremely crucial in the early-mid part of the game.
-Be kind to your teammates, say gj when they get kills or secure objectives.
-MAKE YOUR MINIMAP 100% IN SIZE AND LOOK AT IT AT LEAST EVERY 10-15 SECONDS!
-Don't flame
-Stay calm, remember that you are playing a game that has nothing to do with real life.
-Have fun
