League of Legends (LoL) Question: How do you Become a Moderator?

From MOBAFire Wiki on different ranks:

"Moderators: Moderators are hand-picked by the Admins. They have access to a number of tools to make sure MOBAFire is a fun and fair place for everyone. They also have access to the powerful report system."


So, it's unlikely that you are going to become a moderator, but if you keep up the good work, you might reach the rank of an Editor or even a Veteran.

First rule of mod club: don't talk about mod club

Generally speaking I can't remember the last time a non veteran member was promoted to mod, and I can't remember the last time someone who hasn't been on the site for at least 2 years was promoted.

Having guides at the top also has nothing to do with it. Neither does having rep/comments count, but those both show that you have activity in the community, which is big.

There is no sure fire way of being promoted, but rest assured that if you contribute to the forum enough and the mods/admins feel you would be a good choice, you will be contacted. Not sure really what criteria the mods/admins use, but I do know all of our mods/admins are extremely hard working and always have been.
