League of Legends (LoL) Question: How do you feel about premade chat?

It's honestly pretty pointless. Until they implement a chat where I can talk to the random people on my team, I'm just gonna keep using Discord.

I probably won't use it as I'm already comfortable with Discord and so are all the people I play with. There's no real downside so it's fine that they're adding it. I'm glad it doesn't include randoms because I don't really like talking to random people in voice and I'd hate for that to be basically obligatory in order to win ranked games.

8.6 right? But I think it's pretty neat League finally did it and they really thought it through. Am curious whether discord is gonna stick around. Now that I think of it, it would make people to click 'Play again' as they would disconnect every time they don't.

I say yay, voice chat for pre-mades in one package. I've lost count of the amount of programs with all their various idiosyncrasies that I've installed over the years to manage this aspect of the game depending on whatever program was flavor of the month.
