League of Legends (LoL) Question: Ravenous hunter and sheen items

Ravenous Hunter tooltip says it works on on-hit effects. It's hard to test this in practice tool since the base value is super low. As far as I've seen it works on Lich Bane procs but it doesn't work on Trinity Force procs. Is this right? Is this bugged?
