I have confused lately . Is the tank the op role or not?
If not which is the best role?

Tanks have not been pretty much relevant in the top lane, well excluding Ornn.

As far as saying which is the best role it really depends but you could say mages, high damage and not a lot of counter items with lots of mr resist
