Tips for teemo vs riven

So i've been playing teemo in ranked because i like teemo, not because of hai.
The most difficult lane matchup to me is vs riven
any tips on beating her or at the very least dealing with her and making it to a later point in the game

Try to stay at range as good as you can while still remaining in auto-attack range. If she jumps on you, blind and try to run away. Then proceed to poke her to death with AA's. That being said, riven is hard to face because of her mobility.

I'd just go with the fetal position.

As Vynertje said you need to poke riven down. One of the most important things to winning this match-up is to punish when her abilities are on cooldown. The second she walks away from trading with you, you should be auto-attacking her. If you do not retaliate after she trades with you, you will not win trades.

Get tabi early? Maxing blind would be nice too. Whatever you do, don't die to her before 6, focus on slowing her ravenous(most riven will rush this after brutalizer) else she gonna shove your tower, don't poke with AA unless you know you will get ganks so you can freeze the lane. Ward the bushes in lane to deny countergank and you're golden. You will only win this lane in case of riven sucks and/or your jungler is pure awesome.
