Ahri Is pretty meta, and really easy to learn. She has a pretty basic kit, and her only combo you need to learn is how to land her Charm, and follow up with her Orb of Deception and Fox-Fire.

Most played midlaners are Azir, Twisted Fate, Orianna and Kassadin.

@ Vapora Dark has guide for Kassadin at least and he is rather easy to pickup along with Orianna. Azir and Twisted Fate are harder ones to learn.

About meta, assassins are particularly strong. Talon, Zed, Diana, Fizz and Katarina are interesting choices, if you want to burst your enemy and snowball your game.

When it comes to mages, there are interesting choices that i'd reccomend you. Lux and Xerath are some of my personal picks, they have a ridiculous ranges, so they can siege really hard. Annie amd Veigar are other interesting choices, since they are a consistant pick, since it will be hard to pusish them and most of the times, mistakes won't really mess your entire lane.

And my last recommendation, is my favorite, Kayle, she excels as a Midlaner, since she has everything. She can burst enemies, melt towers, deny bursty champions ults with her ult, and healing herself against poke matchups. It's a really safe champion since you can go 100-0, or you can just farm and still have a really powerful late game. Plus, the best part, is that she's a counter to most of this game's cancer champions, such as Yasuo, Teemo and the list goes on.

Wow! Thanks for putting so much time into my pointless question, i do appriciate it. Tbh i never saw Kayle as a threat, but now that you proved me what her true potential is i might try her out!

Fun to play is one of those things that depends largely on personal preference.

If you like to chill and farm and then have occasional high points then Malzahar is a pretty good pick.

If you like getting a lead and roaming a lot, Ekko from my observation, is good at taking over a game by transferring his lead to other lanes.

Talon is also pretty good at the same but an AD version with even more ability to roam.

And if you are looking at getting better and want a relatively simple champion that can have a big impact on the game Annie can be a good choice.

Of the four Annie is probably the easiest to play followed by Malzahar.

I'm a fan of Vel'Koz myself and actually used him as my main Mid pick when I was opting for Mid. I believe he is considered a control mage (enter my zone and get hurt), which would suggest looking at other control mages if you are looking at picking up someone other than Vel'Koz. Azir, Lux, Anivia for some examples.

thanks for the lengthy feedback vex! Althrough i just dont find malzahar and ekko my fitting my playstyle. I would much rather pick Vel'koz if i had to pick a mage. For talon, my friend plays talon 90% of the time sooo i dont get to pick him mid often. Anyways thanks!
