"Hey! So the issue I've had in the past with hybrid builds is that it feels like it's trying too hard to split Malz into two very different purposes.
AP Malz is purposed around burst, sustained damage, laning-phase pushing, and dueling.

"Hey! So it's not a matter of Iceborne Gauntlet being bad, but rather that Randuins and Thornmail outclass it. Mana is nice, but defense is still a primary priority and with both Catalyst (Righteous Glory) and Tear of Goddess, your mana pool is already mostly set."
