Doing this Alphabetically and this is coming from someone who considers himself a decent player, but in no way any good. THIS IS MY PURELY OPINION AND WILL CHANGE AS I LEARN CHAMPIONS/STRENGTH/PLAY THEM
5 Categories.
Broken - Oh god, why. If the person playing this champion has half a brain your team should win.
Strong - Really Strong, might be just a Tad OP but they're not game shattering if the person playing them knows what they're doing
Balanced - Well, they're at a good place. they have the pro's a con's that counter balance each other to lead to a good balanced champion.
Mediocre - they're just lacking in one area or another and are just too meh to play.
Eve Tier - Do not play unless its life or death.
Ahri - Higher side of balanced/lower side of strong: With her passive sustain and skill shot in charm, she feels a tad strong to me. That orb can do enough damage and if she lands charm and combos you, you'll be lucky to survive. That and she's highly mobile with her ult and if she has flash, post-6 she's a tough cookie to gank.
Akali - Balanced: she has her places. She can just farm with Q all day until 6 and then if she knows she has an advantage can quickly combo someone squishy down. She is naturally squishy (in my experiences) and if she is focused is usually dead. The only thing that makes me think of placing her just a little lower would be the fact that so many people have a huge AoE ability that they can stand in her shadow and smack her, specifically Lee Sin which can actually reveal her.
Alistar - Lower side of balanced: What can I say about the CC king. If you have someone that can land the famous Headbutt Pulverize combo and you have the damage, they can be killed. the famous bot lane Vayne and him is deadly if either player knows what they're doing. However is shut down in lane by Janna and her tornados and Soraka with her silence. Lulu is also annoying because of Whimsy can stop you mid Headbutt without actually knocking them back. He can also come from the jungle with scary ganks. However his sustain for the carry is lacking and can be shut down in lane by any support with a ranged poke etc.
Amumu - Higher side of balanced/lower edge of strong: Oh god, this mummy needs more friends. Coming from the jungle he can be incredibly strong if he lands the bandage. If the bandage doesn't hit, he can still hit you with his ult and his E can do some damage. just incredibly strong for my tastes and can decimate a team. Throw him in a comp thats all AoE and laugh.
Anivia - Strong: This chicken is ridiculous. Her passive makes her able to play ridiculously aggressive if it is up. If she can land a combo on you and she's level 5+ you'll lose a bunch of health. If she gets blue buff she should never be knocked out of lane. Her ult and walls bring so much utility and disruption to teamfights that it is ridiculous.
Annie - Strong: This chick has ridiculous late game burst. If she can make it to late game with a few items, her combo is insanely powerful. if she can stun someone they're dead. With tibbers and an AoE stun possible with 2 options she can wreck a team camping her. However, her early is mediocre but it doesn't matter if she can make it to late game with a kill or two and a little farm. No escape, but she doesn't need one with her Molten Shield and stun.
Ashe - Middle/Low side of Balanced: The first champ you play. In my honest opinion, she is really close to balanced. She has no "true" escape, but has a slow and a stun. She has, probably the worst steroid for an AD carry in her passive. But she makes up for it in the AoE of Volley, the slow, and one of the best initiators in the game.
