In lanes like these, your secondary runes are really up to personal preference. In my experience approach velocity doesn't really help you stick to quinn or lillia as much as something like ghost, iceborn gauntlet or force of natur"

When taking a look at triumph, on paper it looks absolutely fine for him, but when considering different runes I always like to look at whats available and most practical. There are 2 main barriers that need to be considered.

Match ups like these are pretty hard. I would recommend doran's shield and second wind. It's perfectly fine to give up early CS until you can get your hands on plated steelcaps and some extra armor and HP components. Eventually you will be very difficult to poke out.
