"What exactly is a laptop built for windows?
ubuntu doesn't have any sort of power manager like windows does, so you need to download one yourself. for me jupiter is working fine and my battery lasts about the same in each OS."

I'm using gnome2 right now. Imo it's much cleaner, and with guake it's just awesome"

"For some reason ubunto is depleting my battery 2 times faster than windows 7.. right now it's only lasting 50 mins..
If I can't fix this then I'll have to reformat the laptop to use w7 again. That's such a major inconvenient, why the hell would they not fix this?"
