I don't think it does. From what I've read it works, except for the store and champion select, thus making you unable to enter games.
LoL uses a VERY weird combo of programs for installation and lobby interface, so it's one of the harder games to "emulate".
Edit: I stand corrected. It's amazing how compatible Linux can be :o

"Blizzard spoke thus; Thou shalt not BM. And the players replied Nay, I shall Play my hand with Lethal already on the board. And so Blizzard sent unto them this Brawl of Yogg, As a lesson for their sins of Pride and Greed, for he is the Prophet of Madness and RNG. On that day, the tavern descended into an era of chaos and darkness, until the weekend passed and everyone forgot all about it. Amen. Book of SMOrc, Verse 20, Chapter 4." - Feam T
Ah, still bad performance in game though. But that's AMD's and Nvidia's drivers' fault.
I hear that Intel's integrated GPUs have good Linux drivers though, so games might run pretty well (for the amount of performance the GPUs have) on such machines.

I don't use Ubuntu on my main PC atm and I've only been using Unity so far.
I wanna try LXDE. It looks good, but a little barebones.
Xfce looks a little interesting, but I don't know too much about it.
I know very little about KDE except for some screenshots I've seen.
For some reason ubunto is depleting my battery 2 times faster than windows 7.. right now it's only lasting 50 mins.. Most likely I'll have to reformat the laptop to use w7 again. It's such a major inconvenient.
Look for battery fixes. I've heard others having trouble with it and I think it's just a case of the laptop misreading the battery or something.
Bumblebee might also be worth installing(don't know too much about it though). It enables the use of both integrated graphics and non-integrated to work together (Intel integrated GPU+some Nvidia GPU for example).
