"not really. the only thing that affects ryze is the removal of strength of spirit. hell i can get 5.5k mana on ryze easily, he shouldnt need that regen if he can deal that much damage, especially with the magic pen mastery."

"again, 3 per 5 is 1440 regen over 40 minutes. thats wasted on ryze who has the largest mana pool of all champions.
and i personally like more spellvamp over perseverance. since i run flash ignite on ryze i dont really think the 15 sec cd on flash is worth it."

pros: a lot of health (great if you're building atmas), and the slow proc every attack
cons: you don't get any of the other parts of trinity force, especially the sheen
trinity force.
pros: that q damage with trinity proc, all the other stats
cons: only 35% chance to slow on "
