Posted a Comment: Jan 20th, 2012 "Well did some calculations about that item and I prefer Wit's End. You cant really "control" the damage of Ionic Spark and sometimes you wont even get that (fake) AoE damage as there is e.g. only one enemy."

Posted a Comment: Dec 2nd, 2011 "Starting with doran's shield is not completely wrong. But doran's ring allows you to use Q more often and more effective when used versus creeps (in early you should heal up always on creeps). That's why doran's ring is the better choice most times ;)"

So far I saw a lot of them playing this build without it but I can not stress enough how fast you will be oom as you are only able to cast less than 10 spells. Including Hungering Strike is Lanewick's main damage sour"
