"*facepalm* archangel staff and IE on a tank? Really? Take Atma and Abyssal instead. Both have decent offensive and defensive stats. And replace Thornmail with Frozen Heart. It got a better effect and give half the mana you'd get from a max archangel staff."

"You could always try Lux. She got great poke and her ulti has a low CD and incredible range that put Xerath to shame.
Or, you could try Swain. He's tankier then most AP mid and got great sutain thanks to his passive and ulti. Plus, he turn into a monster bird."

If, however your looking for a more serious choice, there's Nocturne, Hecarim, Nunu, Kayle (yes it work) and Volibear.
But like sirell said, you better wiat until the new jungle before making it"
