Views: 1315 1v1 Tournament! Winner gets a prize!

SIGNING UP IS OVER. THANKS TO THOSE WHO SIGNED UP~!
Welcome to my 1v1 tournament! I haven't hosted a tournament before so all I'm asking from you guys is to not make a big deal out of it if the organization is a bit sloppy. I'll do my best to make things go smoothly. And PLEASE read the entire posts because I want to avoid people saying things like "oh but I thought this and this and bla bla bla". Just read the entire post.
This tournament counts for both EU and NA! The NA players will be playing on the North America server (duh) and the EU players will be playing on the EUW server. If any of you EU people are from EUNE, you can make an account on EUW and sign up. And since I want things to be fair if a person with a new account for the tournament has to play vs a level 30 with runes/masteries, both of them will be playing WITHOUT runes/masteries. However matches between level 30 accounts will be played WITH runes/masteries. Here are some basic rules you need to know or follow:
- No flaming, offensive language or raging if you lose your match
- The "no runes/masteries" rule only counts for Level 20 and below accounts. Level 21+ accounts have to play with runes/masteries.
- Depending on how many people sign up, the tournament will be in a bracket or a group stage that will later turn into a bracket. I'll explain more once signing up is over.
- All matches are round robin except the final. The final will be a best of 3.
- All matches will be played on the Howling Abyss
- If there's not a ton of matches, I will set up and watch all matches however if there a lot, some of you guys will have to play your matches yourselves and send me a screenshot as proof of your victory.
- Win conditions are First Blood, First Tower or First Person to a 100 cs/minions.
- Sign up only if you have the time for it. If you're busy and you don't think you'll be able to have enough time to compete, it's best if you don't even sign up.
- If I have enough money for it, both the winners from the EU tournament and the NA tournament will win. If not, I'll randomly choose between both winners and the one that gets chosen gets the prize.

- Skype Name (if you want your Skype to stay private, you can remove me after the tournament is over)

The signing up itself will be all day today and perhaps tomorrow as well if there's not enough people. I think there should be a normal pick/ban phase, with both sides having a number of bans before selecting their champions. It's very unlikely for both players to share a champ they're good at, so forcing everyone to play the same champion isn't as good of an idea imo. In a normal pick/ban scenario, the first pick can focus his bans on champs he doesn't feel comfortable facing before locking his champ, while the second pick has the advantage of knowing what his enemy will play while picking and being able to react to it. There's also room for targeted bans if the players know each other, of course.

I dunno tbh. If "same champ" wins, I'm thinking of making it either the champ is decided by the players of the match (unlikely) or we'll make another poll with voting. But tbh, the poll is just to see if the majority of the contestants will want the same champ for every match. If it turns out that half of them want same champ and the other half don't want that, I probably won't do it with the same champ. It's just easier if everyone can just pick w/e champ they want. And not to mention if we pick 1 champ for all matches, like
