"You can figure what runes he uses by looking on the right side.
Seems like flat AD reds and AS for rest.
1) His W scales with AD too + you get AS on passive and ult. No need to dig into AS more than some on the side with BotrK.
2) He's no Tryndamere, that said: You are WAY to squishy.

Sion, Yi, Tryn before rework, Ashe, Blitz, Corki, GP before rework, Jax before rework (well you could even go full AP and haul ass), MF before rework, etc.
On some it would even be quite good early, but mid-late y"

It's not "just bad", but I'd never get it on him, since - as you stated - securing that Liandry's ALWAYS does double damage is the only reason I see in buying it. (BUT I'm able to cover already a lot using Adhesive)
