"The problem with mask is that it is un-upgreadable to anything.
Blasting wand gives you AP as well, so you get HP as well. And you can upgreade it to anything. Mask is great for AP champs that needs HP early game... for me.... vlad doesnt need it at all :)

"Mercs are very nice but i love the CDR Ionian give early game. His cooldowns are huge early game especialy your beloved Ulti, but when you hit lvl 16... this might be valid to swap ionian for Merc hmmm..."

"That might be VERY viable since i start of with a Long Sword anyway. I have to test out this tonight.
Decent for AD and MR passivly, and that shield passive is good for getting a gank drawback on your ass.

"i've faced heavy stun steams with heavy AoE. And i looked for some surv, any kind of CC will purely screw up Noct if you can survive the innitial REQ burst.
That is why i am looking for a good defensive item for him. Banshee is ok but i was not amazed by it's usefullness."
