"Yeah, they do considerable AoE damage (esp. if someone can AA all the targets once you have Sunlight debuff). So do Morgana and Lux.
I...don't think there are any other supports worth mentioning for an AoE comp, unless you count Janna since she has two AoE disables and a shield"

"Yeah, Zilean's actually a better mid than support, since his bombs deal TOD with 90% AP scaling. He also is able to build Athene's Unholy Grail as a mid, or get blue buff, which you tend to not get as a support."

"From a support's POV, the easiest ADC to support is Caitlyn, as she can harass easily and has a decent escape mechanic. She can also help with bush control, which is a huge plus.
Everyone else is more or less dependent on the support-carry combo."
