"TBH I would actually recommend ezreal as one of the best "noob" champions. He's great for learning skillshots and has a built-in escape. You get to learn positioning while having an escape on one of your basic spells."

It depends on what you pick. While every champion has counterpicks, some have really hard counters and if one or more of those is meta you'll lose a lot of games when firstpicking. I doubt many...
