Hello everyone!

This is what it seems to be - the very first entry on my mobafire blog. Here is the place when I'll be discussing and sharing my thoughts, opinions and recommendations about my favourite game, which happens to be League of Legends (and probably I'm not alone on this site). Due to this being kind of beggining post, I'll concentrate more on the introduction part, rather than on the topic, which I will cover just shortly since it's more general thing. This will reverse in the next blogs, since I'll only be able to give you a most recent updates about myself.

So firstly, I'm an elo hell kid (or kid with always low elo, if you prefer not to believe in elo hell existance). My elo was never higher than 1200 and at the moment it's about 550 (it was 400 few days ago), but still I have lots on experience on ranked - over 170 wins, including some won 4v5 and even 3v5 (but also on the other half, not to praise myself too much). My favourite kind of champions are those who have good sustain and/or escape engines. I don't fancy ****ting CCs, I prefer to **** with damage. I used to suck at jungling, but right now I'm kind of better. Here are some of my fave champs for every position at the moment:
AP carry: Morgana, Katarina, Vladimir, Malzahar, Brand, Kennen
AD carry: Graves, Miss Fortune, Tristana, Malzahar
Solo top: Riven, Irelia, most of AP carries aboce
Jungle: Nocturne, Shyvana, Tryndamere
Support: Nidalee, Soraka, Blitzcrank
My favourites used to differ before, but they kind of changed cause of nerfs and buffs stuff, i.e. my best supp (and AP carry nuker btw) was Sona back then, but they nerfed her so much, that she seems unplayable for me right now. Similiar story with Ahri, whom - even I love looking at while playing, I can't really achieve much with anymore.

Secondly, I'm kind of amatour player and I treat LoL as a fun. I see less and less people have such an approach to this game, which makes me kind of sad. I will write about what makes me mad in other people's behaviour in later entries, but - I just can't stand those who treat winning every game as a live-or-die thing and argue with whatever they thing is not pro enough, especially with experimenting (which I hate so much). This is one of the reasons why even though Malza is my personal best AD carry, I don't play him often - if I pick him, there is high risk the whole team will play against me, which is one of those things that really annoy me. To me, a game is a game and I play it mostly to enjoy it. Not to prove anyone anything, not to be the very best, but to enjoy it. Of course winning makes playing more enjoyable, but not for the price of experimenting and playing in your own personal way...

Thirdly, the content regarding the actual LoL-themed topic of today, which is short thoughts on metagame, or more specifically - on recent changes in metagame. I was kind of absent from LoL due to my computer being repaired for about two months with short break, so a lot of things did change and most importantly the balance between champions. Not any in general, but more like balance between lanes. I feel that there is more and more pressure on the AD carry, because they tend to be the main power of the late game in a bigger way that they used to be. Mages on other hand has been nerfed down pretty badly altogether, by both personal nerfs and nerfs of the items (especially Will of the Ancients, which now gives 5% less SV and costs 400g more than it used to). The best AP carries seems to be those who... Weren't touched by the nerfing blade of the Riot obviously (like Vlad, Brand or Kennen, neglecting Kassa and Morgana - they rarely even get through the banning phase). AD carries on the other hand got a slight, but very important improvement of Bloodthirster, which made them more consistent through the game. They did get a nerf of Life Steal as well, but I feel like it affected junglers more than carries, since the second ones tend to focus more on getting damage than sustain (the only real LF item on most carries if the BF I mentioned, or maybe ocasionally Lantern). So - carries up, mages down.

My thoughts on champion balance? Nothing that isn't too obvious to already have been said. It works pretty well now, though there are some champions that need slight buffs after the nerfs that hurt them too much. I hate the approach that Riot seems to have - xyz is so big, that it is the only viable options, so instead of giving other options to players - let's just nerf xyz! Yay! Well, that doesn't kind of solve the problem you see... Just look on Sona, she used to be "so good that nobody looks on other supports" and now nobody looks on Sona... Even on her boobies :<

Oh, I ban Jax and Shen. They got too powerful after the "comeback" buffs. And hell knows how to counter them in game... Or do you have any ideas? Especially for Jax. I have no idea how to hit this annoying dude.

Well, see ya later!

PS Don't judge me, I still look on Sona's boobies. Wish I could do some more than just look though...
