I disagree with what you said about Athene's (esp with the buffs but even without it) and advocating for 2 dorans in most scenarios as you can normally farm up to nomicon / athenes / seeker component without needing an extra dorans unless you get forced back early.

Hex into Warmog's is good in midgame teamfights because you're fighting against an ADC + jungler + double AP which is mixed damage.
Hex also gives great laning presence unlike svisage"
