"Probably for consistency reasons, because you also get the 1 year badge if you have the 2 year badge as well.
Also compare the Super Editor badge to the other Editor badge, which I both have.
Besides, since you can move the badges around I don't really see the problem."

"Something I've seen in my journey from silver to plat is that people are WAY too attached to wards. If the enemy is clearing one and you can't safely defend it, then don't and just buy a new ward."
