"Last thing I will say on the matter: I usually get scores like 14/4/19, without Rod of Ages. With it I would probably around 8/3/16, simply because it slows my damage output in favor of survivability you just don't need...

It hurts that it needs explanation. On Lux it is crap, not on everyone ._. It grants you 3 measly stats, of which only the little AP is slighty useful. You want CDR -> AP -> more AP, not survivability... "

I agree with Toshabi that you should stay in the back, but often the enemy team has some AP carry focusing you. I agree that Banshee's Veil is often more useful, however.
