"Imo all percentage reduced/increased damage is really bad. It doesn't add much to the table. For example Honor Guard - you take 3 % reduced damage. If you were to take 1000 damage you now take 970. I really don't see the point of taking it.

"I agree that Aegis/Bulwark works great on Thresh, but I prefer to get more wards/oracles and have my jungler buy Aegis/Bulwark.
I do think you really need a gp/10 item, otherwise you'll be very gold deprived which kinda sucks :P
