It's simple. Hate on them.
I have removed every single Veteran Recommendation I have given out pending the Veteran Recommendation changes. Once they are in place, I should be able to freely rec guides without people judging me or claiming FAVOURTISM, MY ****ING GOD, FAVOURTISM!!!!! in my face. Not sure how simple minded some people are, but if a person writes one good guide, they can generally replicate this effort - and if that results in (OMFG SHOCK AND AWE!!!!!) 2 recommendations, GET THE **** OVER IT ^^
I am considering archiving all of my guides - but I may just leave them up until other people make guides good enough to replace them as my own grows to Expired. (EDIT: Upon seeing which guides would replace my Ashe one, I decided against archival. I couldn't do something that cruel to MobaFire, no matter how *****y some members are here)
If you read this and you were one of the victims of losing a recommendation, I am sorry for your loss, but at least this way people cannot stab fingers in my direction and tell me that I don't deserve to rec guides. (EDIT: Rest assured, when the new system is in, I'll be rec'ing as many guides as I can, don't worry :D)

I lost four, but it's worth it if it'll relieve some of the flak you have to deal with. I didn't come to Mobafire and write guides to get a good score. I came to hang out with people like you.
Bleeeh I lost my only one and since the champion I wrote it for isn't that popular, I don't get so much views and/or votes and/or possible rec's.

To be clear, i meant that leaving the site completely looks to be a fairly amatuer decision with the information available to me.
I'm not you, and i don't know or think what you do.
