You can get substantial magic resist from Mecury Treads and Lich bane, but Armor isn't a core stat in Akali's typical builds.

But if he swaps with the clone during that time, then you've got a problem.
He wouldn't be "healing" just casting a second illusion on you.

Shaco - About to become even better at Juking
That would be one of the most fun mechanics in the game, I think.
If people think ward-jumping Lee Sin and Flash-Kassadin can juke well, this is going to blow their minds. :D
