Tear is pretty good, I'm considering it for my solo-queue build. Blue card's nerfed now, so if you can find a way to fit it in, it's pretty nice for late game."

The thing you need to remember is that early game, you are mana-restrained. So you have to be very careful with how much you cast. Always give spaces in between bombs for your mana to regenerate to the cost.

Archangel Staff's pool is unique. It's the AP-Mana% ratio that's stackable.
If you stack AAs, you won't get more then the initial 450 mana from the 2nd AA. Only the first passive mana-pool applies.
